1. Prohibited to Make Out in Public
As an Islamic country, Dubai prohibits couples making out in public. Even though the couple already has a marriage bond, they are still prohibited from showing affection in public.
2. Prohibited to Wear Sexy Clothes
Dubai is indeed a very beautiful city to visit, unfortunately for women, it is forbidden to wear sexy clothes here. Even to just want to swim or play water on the beach. If someone violates, they will be penalized.
3. Prohibited to Insult the Government
As part of the UAE, Dubai embraces an Absolute Monarchy government system, therefore, Dubai applies this regulation to protect the names of officials from public criticism. If someone is found to have insulted the government, there will be severe penalties and even deportation.
4. Prohibited to Drink Alcohol in Public Places
Do not drink alcohol in public places in Dubai. However, that does not mean that one is not allowed to consume alcohol while in Dubai. They are allowed to consume alcohol as long as it is in a closed place or club that has obtained permission from the government.
5. Prohibited to Carry, Distribute and Consume Drugs
Do not ever carry, distribute and consume narcotics in Dubai. Because, if someone does these things, he/she will get punished to 4 years in prison or even forever.
