The Launch of New KLX150 Enliven Kawasaki Bike Week 2023

VoxPop – PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia (KMI) held the Kawasaki Bike Week 2023 on Saturday, Feb.4. This event aims to be a meeting place between the Kawasaki Lovers community in Indonesia. There are some activities at this event, one was the launch of the New KLX150 as the latest vehicle.
Head of Sales & Promotion of PT KMI, Michael C. Tanadhi, said the launch was carried out after last year’s refreshment for Kawasaki Lovers by releasing the Ninja ZX-25R with a digital speedometer.
“Our next step is to innovate with this 150-cc trail bike by providing the same refreshment, obviously prioritizing the wishes of Kawasaki Lovers to be more confident using our products,” Michael said at Kawasaki Bike Week on February 4, 2023, at the Ancol Festival Beach, Jakarta.

KMI launched two types of New KLX150, including the KLX150 with lime green color options, then the New KLX150S is available in two ebony and lime green color options.
While most color choices are on the KLX150 SE, namely Vivid Orange/Ebony, Neon Green/Ebony, Delight Blue/Ebony, and Shiny Yellow/Oriental Blue.
The latest features of the New KLX150 include a headlight equipped with LED and a full LCD speedometer developed through digital instrumentation with good visibility. For the vehicle body, it is adjusted to be more aggressive and powerful, the front wheel suspension is upgraded to improve rideability and maintain good maneuverability.
On the same occasion, the Project Leader of New Kawasaki KLX150, Satoshi Takaya stated that Kawasaki has developed new aggressive and powerful styling such as the KX which has been updated to improve riding performance and adopted LED headlights which is a first-in-class feature. The New KLX150 will offer the latest in fun for city riding or off-road trail riding.
"I believe the KLX brand has been one of the most trusted and top brands in the Indonesian automotive market for dual-purpose models since 2009. It will be the best moment.” Satoshi Takaya said.
