CFIN Feels Optimistic about This Year Target

Jakarta – PT Clipan Finance Indonesia Tbk ("Clipan Finance/CFIN") successfully held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders ("AGMS") and Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders ("EGMS") (collectively referred to as the "Meeting") on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the PaninBank Building, Senayan.
One of the decisions made during the AGMS was the approval of the shareholders to distribute a cash dividend of Rp389.45 billion or Rp100 per share.
The amount of cash dividend distributed is equivalent to more than 100% of the net profit in 2022. In addition to the dividend discussion, the Meeting also approved the reappointment of the Company's Board of Directors in relation to the expiration of their term.
Clipan Finance successfully closed the year 2022 with excellent performance, with a profit growth of 571.02% and financing exceeding 100% compared to the previous year.
The management is optimistic about achieving the targets set for 2023, considering the year-to-date (YTD) growth in May 2023 compared to YTD May 2022, which is above the current multifinance industry growth.
The President Director of the Company, Harjanto Tjitohardjojo, said, that the proposal for dividend distribution is a follow-up to the aspirations of the shareholders.
“With this dividend distribution, the Company hopes that the shareholders can benefit from their ownership and indicates that Clipan Finance shares (with stock code: CFIN) have strong potential for sustainable growth in the future, supported by adequate financial performance, good corporate governance, and excellent human resources,” said Harjanto in company statement.
Meanwhile, the schedule for the distribution of cash dividends will be announced together with the summary of the Meeting minutes on the website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the Indonesian Central Securities Depository, and the Company's website on Monday, June 26, 2023.
