VKTR Introduces Electric Mining Truck for Eco-friendly Industry

Jakarta – At the 2023 Indonesia Mining Exhibition, VKTR Mobility Technology introduced a groundbreaking EV Mining Truck for the mining industry. This is the result of a strategic collaboration between VKTR and Yutong as a global leader in the electric vehicle industry.

After successfully becoming a pioneer for EV Buses, VKTR is now starting to lead in the EV Mining Truck category," said the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas, Gilarsi W Setijono in Jakarta, on Thursday.
Setijono said the EV Mining Truck is the result of a collaboration that aims to bring environmentally friendly mobility solutions to the Indonesian mining industry. He also mentioned that this EV Mining Truck has the best quality in its category.

"Our collaboration with Yutong proves our commitment to advance the mobility technology industry in Indonesia and provide innovative, environmentally friendly solutions to our customers in the mining sector by providing the best quality in its category," Setijono explained.
"EV Mining Truck is a new answer to the need for efficient, environmentally friendly, and reliable transportation in the mining sector. Some of the advantages of EV Mining Truck include battery quality that is 10 times higher than other industries," Setijono added.
Then, a dual control system is integrated into an all-in-one controller with a maximum efficiency of 99 percent. The vehicle also has a high-efficiency electric drive developed directly by Yutong.
The energy recovery technology in the EV Mining Truck is also highly efficient. For example, it has various high-efficiency charging methods, the battery can be exchanged efficiently within 7 minutes, and it can adapt to the transportation needs in the mining area.
"Regarding the Netlink cloud platform, this EV Mining Truck has battery power protection with 26 types of alerts and 95 percent accuracy. Its new energy system also works stably with a comprehensive attendance rate of >95%," he stated.
