Bakrie emphasized that the cooperation between Kadin and CCCI would focus on several key sectors, particularly trade and investment.

"Together with Mr. Boy, both from Kadin and KIKT, we’ve agreed to support the government’s program—Free Nutritious Food (MBG). It’s a major initiative, involving 80 million meal packages for children and pregnant women to be distributed daily," he said in an official statement on Sunday (May 25).

Bakrie then explained that Kadin and CCCI plan to support the program through various means, including the provision of kitchens or Nutritional Service Units (SPPG), distribution of protein and carbohydrates, and the modernization of agricultural industries and genomic sequencing.

"We aim to build a prototype SPPG before August 17, 2025. It will then be handed over to relevant parties, likely near their investment locations—such as East Halmahera, Sulawesi, or Kalimantan," he added.

Bakrie also highlighted the importance of strengthening Indonesia-China bilateral ties, which have a long history.

“Indonesia-China trade has reached 130 billion USD annually, making China Indonesia’s largest trading partner. This presents a great opportunity to increase investment and create more jobs,” he remarked.

The Kadin chairman also noted that strong bilateral relations can ease licensing processes and access to funding.
