They are also known for being very cruel, especially to intruders. It is said that the Sentinelese are the most out-of-touch people in the world.
In 2018, the Sentinelese became very famous after the murder of an American missionary who tried to infiltrate their land. Their biggest fear is colonization, which would lead to an influx of diseases and infections in those without immunity.
